JONATHAN BOYES

JonAthan William Boyes  
Was born March 21, 1958 at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda MD. He passed Away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Rockville MD on May 8, 2018. He was born with a congenital birth defect, which several operations throughout his life failed to fully correct. Jonathan graduated from Rockville High School with the class of 1976. He then attended The University of Maryland for two years before matriculating at Humro Technical School. Afterward he took a position with Gold Industries for five years. Later he joined his brothers in Lawn Maintenance and Landscaping business as a consultant. He was a very diligent reader of history. He bragged that he had read every book written about the Vietnam War. He was survived by his father, William Walter Boyes of Rockville, MD, his older brother, Walter Frederick Boyes of Columbia, MD, his younger brother, Benjamin Smith Boyes of Wheaton, MD, two nieces, three nephews and two great-nephews. Jonathan was proud and happy that he lived long enough to attend of his oldest Nephew's wedding, Justin Frederick Boyes in Australia this past year. Jonathan's remains were cremated and will be inurned alongside his mother, Carol Ann Smith Boyes, and his sister, Maura Ann Boyes in Saint Mary's Episcopal Cemetery in Portsmouth, RI on July 21, 2018.
