KATHRYN ELLEN HARRELL
Loving wife, mom and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Adler Center for Caring in Aldie, VA. She was born on August 4, 1936 in Wilmington, DE to the late A. Donald and Frances M. (Jones) Mister. Kathryn was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and College Basketball fan. She loved cooking and interior decorating. She was predeceased by her parents and one sister, Virginia Dorfler. Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Ron Harrell of Springfield, VA; son, Stephen Harrell and wife, Martha of Catharpin, VA; daughter, Jennifer Goodman and husband, Matthew of Elgin, SC; grandchildren, Samantha and Ethan Goodman and Kathryn Harrell; two brothers, Richard Mister and wife, Dee of Virginia Beach, VA and David Mister of Baldwin, MD; sister, Jane Novicki of Timonium, MD and brother-in-law, Joseph Dorfler of Towson, MD. A Celebration of Kathryn''s Life will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Park Valley Church, 4500 Waverly Farm Drive, Haymarket, VA 20169 with a reception to follow immediately. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of flowers or donations may be made to Capital Caring, c/o Adler Center for Caring, 24419 Millstream Drive, Aldie, VA 20105 in loving memory of Kathryn Ellen Harrell.Condolences may be sent to: www.piercefh.com
