On July 30, 2002, at his niece's home in Stanley, VA, MELVIN W. THOMPSON, a lifelong Fairfax County resident. Beloved husband of Mary Margaret (Scrivener) Thompson; loving father of Melvin Wayne Thompson; beloved uncle of Frieda "Gayle" Mueller and great-uncle of Matthew and John Mueller. Visitation at EVERLY FUNERAL HOME, 10565 Main St., Fairfax, VA on Thursday, August 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services Friday, 2 p.m., St. Francis Episcopal Church, 9220 Georgetown Pk., Great Falls, VA. Interment Arnon Chapel Cemetery.
