On Saturday, April 9, 2005 of Suitland, MD. Beloved husband of Ethel Mitchell; devoted father of Oscar L. Mitchell (wife Raquel) and loving grandfather of two grandchildren, Olivia and Owen. Oscar was a 35 year employee of the Washington Post. Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 15, 2005 from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. at Matthews Memorial Baptist Church, 2616 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. S.E. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
