Raymond Webb Weil Jr. (Age 82)

Raymond Webb Weil, Jr. of Leisure World in Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023. He was born on August 12, 1941, in Syracuse, New York. Ray had a long career with the federal government, first at the Federal Aviation Administration, and then with the US Department of Transportation, where he worked as a Division Chief in the Office of the Secretary until he retired in 2000. Ray is survived by his wife Joanne of over 54 years. He is also survived by his three children Michael (Jennifer) Weil, Matthew Weil and Wendy (Shaun) Snodgrass, and his five grandchildren: Jacob, Zachary, and Nathan Weil and Brooke and Holly Snodgrass, as well as his sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Gordon Eyer, of Syracuse, New York and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.



Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 7 at St. Patrick's Church on Norbeck Road in Rockville, MD, with Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. Donations in honor of Raymond Weil can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and So Others Might Eat (SOME).
