RUDY ROBINSON
Rudy Robinson, age 79, was born in Wilmington, N.C. on August 10, 1943. He passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Beloved brother of Robert (Bobby) Robinson; dear uncle to Elizabeth Renee' Robinson; cherished partner to Dorothy Blount; affectionately known as mentor, friend, classmate, colleague, godfather, father and grandfather to many. Family and friends will honor Rudy's life at the Johnson and Jenkins Funeral Home (DC), 716 Kennedy St NW Washington, DC , at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Interment at Calvary Memorial Cemetery, N 11th St Wilmington, NC at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022.

I just found out about Rudy's passing. I remember him coming to visit us in Lumberton, NC. We always exchanged Christmas cards. So sorry to hear about his passing. God bless the family.

So very saddened to learn of Rudy's transition. Had not been in touch with him for many years. He was a kind and gentle person and my family and I enjoyed many fun times with him back in the day. He was loved by so many and will be missed!! Always in our hearts, always in our prayers, forever in our thoughts.
