On Saturday, June 11, 2016, RUTH GOLD TRETTER of Silver Spring, MD, beloved wife of the late George Tretter for 76 years; loving mother of Steven (Teresa), Carl (Beryl) and Terry (Jeffrey Auerbach) Tretter; dear grandmother of Anne (Jeff) Rothman, Robb (Elizabeth) and Eliot (Nevena Ivanovic) Tretter and Andrew and Michael Auerbach and the late David Andrew Tretter; great-grandmother of Max and Norah Rothman, Stella, Lola, Reese and Ema Ivanovic Tretter. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, 2 p.m., at Judean Memorial Garden, Olney, MD. Shiva will be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to the University of Md. Foundation, David Andrew Tretter Scholarship Fund, College Park, MD, 20742 or to the George and Ruth Tretter Arts Fund at the University of Md., College Park, MD, 20742 or the George and Ruth Tretter Arts Fund at Montgomery College, 7600 Takoma Ave., Takoma Park, MD, 20912.
