Anthony Trotta Obituary
Tony was a funny, endearing, and sweet man who had a soft spot for the downtrodden and others who struggled in life. When he was growing up in Waunakee he shared a room and his life with a disabled foster child, Paul, and helped him learn to communicate and laugh and play like any other child. He developed a brotherly bond with him and kept in touch with him even into adulthood. Through the years he touched the hearts of many with his compassion and generosity. He was a star athlete in school playing CYO basketball, and after graduating from high school he helped the Middleton Colonial Motel softball team win a championship as well. He was an avid outdoorsman and would rather be fishing, trapping or hunting, than just about anything else in the world. He held several different jobs in life but found his true calling when he moved with his parents to Marshall and started a business breeding pedigree German Shepherds. He had a gift for training his pups and became quite the dog whisperer.
In his early twenties he had a horrific motorcycle accident while coming home from work one evening which contributed to him battling mental illness for the rest of his life. Even though he struggled there were still some really wonderful times with Tony, and that sparkle in those blue eyes continued to light up a room right up until the end. He will be truly missed.

A memorial service may be planned at a later date to honor Tony's life.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to Tony's many friends during this difficult time. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength to all who knew and loved him.
Wherever you are Tony, may you be in a place where your stringer is full and the muskrat are fat and plentiful.
