Beatrice Feith

1915 - 2012

Beatrice M. Feith, 97, Schofield, passed away on May 12, 2012 at Wausau Aspirus Hospital.

Beatrice was born in Wausau on April 28, 1915, to Carl and Martha (Taege) Hintz. She attended school at the Red Brick School in Weston; as a young girl she delivered milk with her father in a horse drawn wagon. This was the family business known as The Weston Dairy. She married Arthur Feith on October 26, 1936, a marriage that would last seventy years. She and Archie farmed for many years and raised their three girls on that family farm. They loved to go to dances and celebrated their 25th Anniversary at the Colonial Ballroom dancing to Guy Lombardo. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and embroidery, especially for her family. She loved gardening, flowers were her passion, she was a very caring person and always had a smile for everyone.

She is survived by daughters, Janet (Lee) Guenther, Minocqua; Marjorie Neitzke, Schofield; Joyce (John) Pliske, Schofield; sisters, Cornelia (Clarence) Baars, Mosinee; Annabelle Kowalski, Mosinee; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, special friends, Margarite Beilke, Toddy Hibbard, Verna Peter, and many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by husband Arthur Feith, parents, Carl and Martha (Taege) Hintz, sisters, Agnes Buska, Wilma Hinner, Avila Richmond, Vernette Means, brothers, Eldor, Arleigh and Jerry Hintz, and son-in-law, John Neitzke. Family would like to thank the staff of Wausau Aspirus Palliative Care Unit for the wonderful care given to our mother.

Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Peace United Church of Christ in Schofield, with visitation from 4pm-8pm, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at John J Buettgen Funeral Home, Schofield and 10 a.m. until time of service at the church on Wednesday. Condolences can be left at www.jjbfh.com
