Dr. Thrall had a major impact on my professional career. He was a wonderful professsor who encouraged a performance that was nothing but the best. A few years ago I was in disbelieft when I learned that I would be inducted into the Hall of Excellence. When our eyes met at the reception I asked him how he was doing and he said from his knees up better than ever. We sat down and caught up on several decades of life events. He was an inspiration, guide and model for so many students to include me.
