Sue will be greatly missed. I have spent much time off and on playing at the senior center. She was always happy to book me for dances and became a friend over the years.

Mourning the loss of this remarkable lady. We were colleagues at EJHS, who became trusted friends through an arduous but worthwhile process. Making a difference in the lives of our Language Arts students was our common ground.
Her classroom Christmas projects blessed students every year, as we borrowed the Home Ec. room and we all made dozens of scrumptious cookies & fudge to gift to their familes. Making memories to last a lifetime.
Well done, Sue! I'll see you in Heaven someday...

Sue and I have been friends since Kindergarten. I cant remember a time in my life when Sue wasn't there. We were know as the Peterson girls because we both shared the same last name. We shared an apartment together one summer at Central. We both went into education and became teachers. We each married and had two boys. Through all the years Sue and I stayed close sharing joys, heartaches, and special moments. I will miss her so much.

Sue was always part of my life. We were there for each other in many ways. We laughed together, we cried together, we shared secrets as if we were sisters. In many ways we thought of ourselves as sisters. We said "I love you" to each other many times in the almost 60 years of being together. I feel as part of me has gone with her. I am missing her so much but am glad I have beautiful memories. Rest in peace my best friend

Sue and I were friends for many years. We were the same age too. I am so sorry to hear of her passing at age 78. On May 29 I too almost died and my family was told that I would be with them no longer but 6 mos after many treatments and rehabilitation I am still here but unable to walk nor drive. Thinking about your Mom and our times together. Am so sorry for you but know she is home now with our LORD.
