James "Jim" M. Martucci, 77, of Bethlehem, PA died Thursday, September 11, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus. He was the husband of Patricia "Pat" (Pillar) Martucci with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage on July 24, 2025. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Michael A. and Louise (Orefice) Martucci, owners of The Grotto restaurant in Bethlehem. After graduation from Liberty High School in 1966, Jim joined the United States Army serving his country during the Vietnam and Korean Wars. Upon arriving home, Jim continued his education at Northampton Community College. He co-owned and operated Karl's Auto Glass, Phillipsburg, NJ for many years until retiring. Never one to sit still, Jim opened the former J and P Glass, Bethlehem which he operated for several years. A talented athlete, Jim was a member of the East Penn Fast Pitch League for many years and was the recipient of multiple awards for his position in left field. He was also an avid golfer, always looking forward to being on the course with his friends in the league. Jim loved nature and animals, especially dogs. Hunting and fishing were 2 of his favorite hobbies. Many knew him as strong, generous and big hearted, willing to help anyone in need. He was the rock of his family and will be missed by them dearly.
Survivors: Wife; daughter, Kristine Martucci; brother, Michael Sebio and his wife Sharon all of Bethlehem; half-sister, Beth Quarry of NJ; brothers-in-law, John Hanchick, Jr. of Bethlehem, Thomas Pillar and his wife Judith of Allentown, Donald Pillar of Lansdale; sister-in-law, Diane Pillar of Bethlehem; nephews, John Hanchick III, Brian Hanchick both of Bethlehem, nieces, Susan Herlihy of Clinton, NJ, Melina Pillar of Culver City, CA; beloved dog, Allie. He was predeceased by his sister, Genevieve T. Hanchick.
