Frances White Obituary
Frances was born November 26,1939 in Monroe City, Missouri the daughter of Raymond Smith and Opal Lee (Day) White.
She was a graduate of Monroe City High School, Monroe City, Missouri. She was a member of the Monroe City Second Baptist Church. As a young lady Frances worked for the Deluxe Restaurant of Monroe City. She then worked for Diemakers, Inc. of Monroe City before retirement. Frances enjoyed cooking, shopping and watching her soap operas on televesion. Most of all Frances loved her family very much and enjoyed getting together and sharing time with all of them. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include two grandchildren Mark White (Micha Townsend) of Atlanta, Georgia and Cheyenne Baker (Dalton) of Canton, Missouri. Three great grandchildren Jordan Franklin, Jada White and Omni Townsend. Four brothers Raymond White of Keokuk, Iowa, Charles White of Hannibal, Missouri, Ben White of Monroe City and Jimmy White (Carolyn) of Quincy, Illinois. Four sisters Sally White, Carolyn White, Kathy Troy (Bill Janes) and Sandra Minter all of Monroe City, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons Mark Anthony White and Allen Dewayne White, one brother Carl Mayfield, three sisters Edna Mae Hanson, Brenda Pruitt and Jenna White. Brother in law Eddie Hanson, two sister in laws Edna White and Toni Mayfield.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, November 10,2025 at the Garner Funeral Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri Rev. Ed Talton will officiate. Burial will be held at the St. Jude Cemetery, Monroe City, Missouri. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 09,2025 from 3:00 until 5:00 pm at the Garner Funeral Home & Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri. Active Pallbearers will be Jay White, Lamont White, Derrick Minter, Lil Kent Holland, Carl Brown and Dwayne White. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andre White, Cory Hanson, Tyler White and Jordan Holland. Repass meal will follow services on Monday at the K of C Hall, Monroe City. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Garner Funeral Home & Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri. Online condolences can be made at garnerfuneralchapel.com.
