Jerome Robert 'Jerry' Kroner, age 70, of Quincy, died on Monday, November 22, 2021 in St. Charles, MO with his wife at his side. He was born on June 30, 1951 in St. Mary's Hospital, the son of Bob and Marianne (Goodapple) Kroner. He married the love of his life, Carol L. Schralla on April 17, 1971 in St. Mary's Catholic Church. She survives.
Jerry was a graduate of Christian Brothers High School. Jerry loved working on his '55 Chevy BelAir car. He also loved keeping his house up to date and yard work. He was a journeyman painter and wallpaperer. Both were a knack from his father, Bob Kroner, who owned his own business. He was an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife Carol, Jerry is also survived by: HIS SONS: Matt (Boni) Kroner of Quincy and Andrew (Nicole) Kroner of Johns Creek, Georgia. GRANDCHILDREN: Sam of Quincy and Lauren, Brianna, and Haleigh of Johns Creek, Georgia. His siblings: Judy Willer, Barb Dance, Nancy Kroner, Mary Ellen Piner, Mark (Kathy) Kroner, Alan (Linda) Kroner, and Roger (Dawn) Kroner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Dan 'Boone' Kroner.
A private family service will be held. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or for a mass to be said in his memory. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Messages may be shared online at www.dukerandhaugh.com.
