Richard Russell, of Marblehead, IL, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday January 16, 2022. He was 32 years of age.
Richard was very passionate about life and what he was focused on. He had empathy for others. Richard was a person that was always smiling and positive. He loved to make other people laugh. His life was not without struggles, but he tried to be positive in life. Richard was a man that had a deep conviction. He loved his children, and they were everything to him. He loved to play baseball and football. His favorite teams were the Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his parents, Cindy Russell and Jimmy Seest of Rolla, Mo, mother of his children Sumiko Ward, daughter Amaya Russell of Quincy, IL, son, Adrian Caesar of Quincy, IL, and three sisters, Shannon Gahr and husband Wes of St. James, Mo, Cora Meyer and husband Travis of Rolla, Mo, and Vanessa Wilfong and Husband Edwin of Rolla, Mo, seven nieces, Tessa, Avery, Witley, Audrey, Adelinn, Riley and Lorelei, and Three nephews, Paxton, Joseph, and Thatcher.
Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Gregory, Nick Carney, Wes Gahr, Sam Hawks, Travis Meyer, and. Edwin Wilfong. Don Carson will be officiating the service.
Visitation for Richard Russell will be on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home.
