I lost a longtime good friend on Tuesday. He was a neighbor of mine when I was growing up in Danvers MA. His kids Tommy, Brian, and Carolann were great friends of mine growing up on Centre Street in Danvers. I spent many hours at his house in Danvers and his summer camp in Ossipee NH. He was involved in my Boy Scout troop and he taught me to water ski at his camp. I last spent some time with him in NH in the summer of 2010, where we went golfing at Indian Mound in Ossipee. My mother, my kids and I spent a fun afternoon with him and his wife Elaine at their camp swimming and eating burgers.
Thanks Mr. Tivnan for all the fun times we had. You will be greatly missed.
My prayers and thoughts go out to his wife Elaine, Tommy, Brian, Carolann and all his grandkids.
