Dear Alison, Ian, and ,Jeremy,
I want to send my deepest sympathy to all of you . Your father was at Dartmouth with my husband and they became very good friends. He was at our wedding on June 25 ,1949. He followed us into New York that night and had breakfast with us the next morning. He always called us at Christmas when my husband was still alive. He died 9 years ago. We always tried to get him to come to our house in N.H. but they never made it. He was such a great guy and lots of fun.
I was hoping to talk to him this year and wish him a Happy New Year. I would love to talk to you. My number is 973 746 0238. I will miss hearing from him.
With deepest sympathy
Ellie
