BROWN WINSTON-SALEM Bobby Lee Brown November 9, 2011 Bobby Lee Brown, 79, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born in Danville, VA to the late Everett and Geneva Brown. Mr. Brown was an avid athlete with baseball being his favorite. Mr. Brown played baseball at Wake Forest on a scholarship and was drafted professionally by the Washington Senators. Preceding him in death was his wife, Joyce Corbett Brown and a daughter, Teresa Marie Brown. Surviving are a son, Jeffrey Scott Brown (Traci); daughter, Linda Faye Knott (Bob) and four grandchildren, Brooke Brown, Christopher Brown, Grace Knott, and Jessica Knott. A service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 11, 2011 at Parklawn Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Johnny Corbett officiating. Entombment will follow the service.
