BELEWS CREEK - David James Mackie, 33, of Belews Creek went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006. He was born Aug. 6, 1973, in Forsyth County to Karen D. McCloud and Donald James Mackie. In addition to his loving mother of Belews Creek and his father of Winston-Salem, he is survived by his grandmother, Arlene McCloud, and Uncle Dean McCloud of Mocksville; half sisters and half brothers, Heather, Holly, Cameron and Corbin Mackie, all of Kernersville. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Funeral Home Chapel in Kernersville, with the Rev. Bobby Roark and the Rev. James Roark. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
