Ralph Goodrich from New York emailed me to see if the "Jim Barney" he saw in the Oneonta Star was our "Jim Barney". So sorry to see that he was. Jim was like another son to Andy and I. Our prayers and thoughts are with you today as you adjust to what God has planned for you. God is still good!

Anita,
Words can't express my sorrow and heart felt sympathy on hearing of Jims passing! Even though we lost touch, I have never stopped thinking of you two. So many times I wanted to contact you and regret that I did not. I will forever regret it. Jim was like a brother to me and I loved him very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I wish I could be there for his service, but I am in New York of all places. Just know my thoughts and love are there!

Anita, strangely, I thought about you, yesterday. Words are inadequate to express the void left by Jim's homegoing, but I trust that our Father in heaven will comfort you with the thought that he is now in the prescence of our Lord. I thought about how my Mom "pursued" him to come to the Bible Study at the Lighthouse (that is what I was thinking about, yesterday). I love you and will continue to uphold you in my prayers.
