James Wiles Obituary
November 1, 1940 - January 19, 2024
Yadkinville – James Grady Wiles, 83, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024. He was born November 1, 1940 in Yadkin County to the late Bynum and Pearl Doss Wiles. Grady retired from Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation after 43 years of service and then worked for Wiles Landscaping for 20 years following retirement. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandson; James Thomas Wiles; sisters, Belle Cranfill, Annie Marsh; brothers, Jack Wiles, Tommy Wiles and Herbert Wiles. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Brenda "Polly" Caudle Wiles; sons, Danny (Sandi) Wiles, Dennis (Julie) Wiles; special granddaughter, Anna Wiles.
His Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Joel Riley. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Yadkinville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Memorials can be made to Bethel Baptist Loving Stitches Sewing Ministry, 2232 Brandon Hills Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Wiles family.
