Johnny BUTCHER Obituary

BUTCHER YADKINVILLE Johnny Cleo Butcher June 12, 1945 - Oct. 28, 2012 Johnny Cleo Butcher, 67, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012 at his home. He was born June 12, 1945 in Yadkin County to the late Hubert Cleo Butcher and Mallie Martin Butcher. He was a Marine Sergeant having served in the Vietnam War. Surviving are his son, Scott Butcher; sisters, Peggy Jo (Jerry) Wagoner, Marlene (Eddie) Bledsoe; also a special thanks to Michael Mock and Mark Riddle for helping Johnny. His funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Dean Chandler. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors by the Yadkin VFW Post 10346. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the family. Memorials can be made to The American Legion, 700 N. Pennsylvania St, PO Box 1055, Indianapolis, IN 46206. Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com
