Faye T. Baker

YORK Faye (Trostle) Baker, 102, formerly of Dover, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Kelly Manor, York. She was the wife of Charles J. Baker, who died February 18, 1971. Mrs. Baker was born on May 25, 1910, in Latimer, Adams County, daughter of the late Edgar C. and Mable C. (Lerew) Trostle. She was employed by Wolfgang Candy Company for 19 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of Shiloh United Church of Christ, York. She was a former member of Shiloh U.C.C. Women's Guild, Sewing Circle, Mixed Adult Bible Class, Dover Union Fire Company #1 and the Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene T. Bollinger. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Shiloh United Church of Christ, 2251 Willow Road, York. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. David D. Danneberger. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Dillsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh United Church of Christ, 2251 Willow Road, York, PA, 17408; or to the Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, Inc., 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA, 17202.
