Richard Nolden Obituary
York - Richard L. "Green Dragon" Nolden, Sr., age 70, of York, died at 4:48 AM Friday, November 16, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Dawn N. (Wentz) Nolden.
Born August 16, 1948 in New Park, he was one of fourteen children of the late Charles and Jeannette (Jiles) Nolden. Mr. Nolden was retired from York Hospital where he worked as a dietary supervisor for 25 years, and prior to that had worked at the York County Blind Center.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Nolden is survived by a son, Richard L. Nolden, Jr., of York; two daughters, Sherrona D. Nolden, and her husband Berrell Hughes, Sr., and Crystal Y. Braswell, and her husband William, all of York; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with Elder Leighton McMillan, Sr., of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ, officiating. Viewing will be 4-6:00 PM Monday and 12-1:00 PM Tuesday. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VisionCorps, 1380 Spahn Avenue, York PA, 17403.
