Sally A. (Witmer) Richwine, 69, passed away at 1:17 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017 at York Hospital.
Sally was born November 27, 1947 in York and was the daughter of the late Ervin and Dorothy (Krebs) Witmer.
In 1965 she graduated from Northeastern High School in Manchester. She was employed as a Customer Service Representative for Sam's Club in East York. She also was employed at various restaurants over the years as a waitress. Sally was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Susquehanna V.F.W. Post 2493 in Mount Wolf.
Sally is survived by her daughter, Jody Bennett and her husband, Scott of York Haven; her son, Kelby Sipe and his wife, Ashley of York Haven; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Sipe of York and Leah Sapp and her husband, Larry of Delaware; and her two brothers, Ronald Witmer and his wife, Jean of Mount Wolf and Ned Witmer and his wife, Cheryl of Manchester; her sister-in-law, Pam Witmer of Etters; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Witmer; and her brother-in-law, Dale Sipe.
Her memorial service to celebrate her life will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 8, 2017 at The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 S. Main St., Mount Wolf. Visitation will be from 9 to11 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Officiating at the service will be Chad Robinson.
