Wilbur J. Shaw

WINDSOR Wilbur J. Shaw, 78, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home. He was the husband of Margaret C. (Grove) Shaw to whom he was married 57 years. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Windsor Church of God, 1145 Manor Road, Windsor, with Pastor Anthony Zumbo officiating. Burial will be in Windsor Church of God Cemetery. A viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the church. Arrangements are by the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown. Mr. Shaw was born November 26, 1929, in Windsor Twp., the son of the late Frederick and Mary (Miller) Shaw. He was a lifelong member of Windsor Church of God. Mr. Shaw was a graduate of Red Lion High School. He had been employed as a manager for Pennsylvania Perlite for many years prior to his retirement. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Mary Ott; sons, Anthony Shaw and his wife, Rhonda, and Keith Shaw and his wife, Tina; brother, Frederick Shaw; and sisters, Fern Maugans and Janet Leiphart. Wilbur will be missed by his two granddaughters, two grandsons, and a greatgrandson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon; and a sister, Gloria Stumpf. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Windsor Church of God, 1145 Manor Road, Windsor, PA 16366. Mr. Shaw's family would like to thank the 4th floor staff for the love and care given to Wilbur during his stay at Pleasant Acres.
