Jacqulyn Faye Carrese, 79, of Route 20, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008, at the Harding Nursing Home, Waterville, NY. She was born February 6, 1929, in Norfolk, VA, a daughter of Clarence and Untilla Palmer Allen. She was raised in Ithaca, NY, where she graduated from Ithaca High School. On July 3, 1947, Jacqulyn married Dominic R. Carrese in Ithaca. He predeceased her on April 11, 2006. Mrs. Carrese was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Hamilton. She was a member of the Madison-Bouckville Antique Dealers Association. Surviving are her children, Kathleen and Thomas Gerbasi, of Lewiston, NY, Jean and Ivan Angell, of Knoxville, TN, Kim and Mark Bocko, of Caledonia, NY, Michele Carrese, of Florida, Lorri and Larry Jones, of Waterville, and Renee and Justin Elwell, of Salisbury Center; 12 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Martha and Anola, predeceased her. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, October 24, 2008, from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hamilton.
