Cory, Tracey, Robin, Patsy, and all the members of the Leckey family. My deepest sympathy on your loss. I will always remember and love Vince, and it was a pleasure working with him at Westfield. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I lost my own father in 2004, and he also rests at Arlington National Cemetary. Vince will be missed very much.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I was fortunate enough to meet and talk with Vincent on several occasions in recent years. He was a proud member of the Army Engineer Association, and his image of being "the ideal american soldier" will live on with the U.S. Army Engineer Regiment and AEA for generations.
I regret I have travel commitments that will preclude me from attending any of the services.
Very Respectfully,
Jack O'Neill, Exec Dir, Army Engineer Asscoaition

Dearest Cousins, Your father was a wonderful man and a tribute to his country in all that he did. He truly was the All American Soldier. I know this will be a sad holiday but remember that he is with the love of his life, your mother Alice and both of them are no longer in any pain. They are sharing jokes and stories with his brother, Ed, my dad and his wife, Terry, my mom and reliving the memories. I know that both your mom and dad were proud of their children and I know you will continue to make them proud. My love to all of you during this difficult time.
Your cousin,
M'Balu Samura

It was an honor to have Vincent's story featured on our VI Corps Engineers site. He kindly signed a copy of his poster for me and it proudly hangs in my office.
My condolences to the family and friends. May he rest in peace with the other great WWII engineers he served with.
With deepest sympathy,
Marion J Chard
