Dear Betty and Family -
I just heard of the passing of Tim and I am saddened by the loss of an extraordinary person. He touched so many lives - mine included. I remember often his strength, courage, support, guidance, and the many interactions that we had. We last connected in early 2006, and again I left with renewed appreciation of his strength and determination. May God Bless his spirit and bless you and the family. With Thoughts and Prayers, Matthew Glaudemans

Dear Betty and Family-
I remember working with Tim when he started at CSC over 20 years ago. Over the years since then I would run into Tim from time to time. What I remember most fondly about Tim is that success never changed him. He was always the same honest, straightforward, likable, good person.
Tim will be sorely missed by all who had the good fortune of knowing him.

There is a big hole in the fabric of many lives now. To all family and friends who share that feeling of emptiness, I send you caring thoughts, deepest sympathies, and energies of support and comfort. May our memories sustain us and ensure that Tim lives on forever in our hearts.
Some of my memories from knowing Tim personally and professionally for about 20 years:
Many, many years ago when we were working together in Hanover, Tim asked me to be part of a “red team” for a proposal. I had never done that before and knew nothing about the task, so expressed doubt. But he was so encouraging, so supportive, and so confident in me that I grew to have confidence in myself. He would often guide me indirectly by giving me tasks that I thought were too big for me. But HE didn’t. And he never doubted my worth or capability. He had the rare ability to draw out the best in people, make them stretch, help them grow.
On a personal level, Tim was so helpful to me at many different times in my life, even after moving away from Maryland. One example: Even though he was fighting his own battle with cancer in San Diego, he found a way to use his medical research knowledge to support me in my battle with MS. He shared news articles, sent me web links, gave me hints about dealing with doctors and self injections. Some days, out of the blue, I would get an e-mail from him with some medical information he found. It helped me feel less frightened of what I was experiencing. He was a role model for being strong in the face of a disabling disease.
He will be missed.

To the Sheahan family: I had the privilege of serving with Tim at three different duty stations in the Army. His sense of humor, his leadership, his mentorship was pivotal to many young soldier's careers, mine included. My fondest memories are of our times together at Shin Saeng Orphanage in Korea. America has lost one of Her finest "sons" but we all celebrate the life of Tim and all that he meant to so many of us! Our deepest sympathy in this time of loss!

We all lost a good man today. Tim was my VP while working in CSC San Diego. He was so full of fun and life. I remember him to be fair and caring with everyone he came in contact with.
We played lots of golf together while he was in San Diego. I remember Tim sending an email after his first hole-in-one. He was so proud.!!
I thought all was well. I thought he had "beaten" this disease. I'm sad to hear he lost the battle.
Our prayers will be with you always.
