To the Golden family: Mr. Golden will be greatly missed. Saturday's service was special. I remember over 20 years ago when you all let my now ex and myself crash at your house during a tough personal time. I believe a little wine was even shared. That was the type of guy Mr. Golden was and the type of family the Goldens are. God bless...

Dear Carole,
The service for Dick was wonderful - uplifting, humorous, a celebration of a great person's life. We loved seeing you, the kids and long-time friends, some of whom we hadn't seen in years. We love you all very much.

Mrs. Golden,
When I got the news of your husband's passing, I was so sincerely saddened. In my mind there began to flash all sorts of memories from high school and college days and being around your house. There was rarely a time when it wasn't ringing with laughter, especially Mr. Golden's. A great spirit he was and I send you and all your family my sincerest condolences and best wishes.
