Early roles
Longo’s career began on the stage, and his early film roles reflected that: He appeared in the fifth Bring It On film, and then in the 2009 remake of Fame, both music-driven movies. A series of small parts followed, including acting with Colin Hanks, Adrien Brody, and Michael Chiklis in the film High School; serving as Joe Jonas’s replacement in the show Brothers & Sisters; and having a small role in the cult film Piranha 3D alongside actors Elisabeth Shue, Adam Scott, Jerry O’Connell, Ving Rhames, Christopher Lloyd and Richard Dreyfuss.
Career heights
Longo’s big break came in 2011, when he was cast as Nicholas Almain in the long-running drama Days of Our Lives. His recurring role brought him attention, and soon he would appear as the lead in Nick at Night’s Hollywood Heights. There, Longo co-starred alongside Brittany Underwood, playing rock star Eddie Duran. Based on a Mexican telenovela, the series ran for 80 episodes. During this time, Longo would also launch his solo career as a music artist. His songs include the charting singles “Atmosphere” and “She Said.”
