He was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and a junior and honor student at Henderson County High School.
Surviving are his parents, Marla and Randy Owens; sister, Whitney Smith; brothers, Paul and Wes; and grandparents, June Adamson and Joyce and W.D. Owens.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. today at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home and 10 a.m. to service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church building fund.
