CUMMINGS - Ronald G., 70, Sidman, a loving husband, father and grandfather, died April 18, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 18, 1937, in Windber, son of Leo H. Sr. and Geraldine (Diamond) Cummings. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife, Donna (Chaney) Cummings, Sidman, whom he married May 31, 1958, and would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this May; children, Ronald A., Pittsburgh; Laurie, wife of John Molnar, Sidman; and Ricky L., married to Christina Zeigler, Chambersburg; and grandchildren, Kelsey Molnar and Colton Cummings. Brother of Leo H. Jr., Springfield, Va.; Barry P., married to Mary Beth Benney, Alta Loma, Calif.; E. David, married to Carolyn Breiley, Newark, Del.; and Jack R., married to Jennie Kenda, St. Michael. Also survived by several aunts and uncles, many cousins and best friends, Marlin Thomas and Arnold Locher. Ron worked for Bethlehem Steel in the Wheel Plant for 26 years and drove school bus for Forest Hills School District for over 15 years. He was a proud carpenter who took pride in his work and loved hunting and fishing. Ron was a member of Sidman United Methodist Church, Sidman, and SOAR. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork. Viewing will be held at Sidman United Methodist Church one hour prior to funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Peter A. Forman. Interment, South Fork Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made to Sidman United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society.
