My son Josh met Joey while he was in Maryland. They were very good friends and enjoyed playing music together. After Joey left they kept in communication. I met Joey myself on a few occasions and found him to be someone that I was glad my son was friends with. Josh just found out yesterday what happened and is devistated. I believe Josh's last contact with him via email or something over the internet was on Dec. 30th. Our hearts go out to Joey's family and friends during this most difficult time. I am glad my son had the privelidge of getting to know Joey. He was a great friend for Josh and they both had the mutual love of music. Heartfelt condolences from all of us here in Maryland.

For Joey's family: Joey helped us move several years ago. He carried heavy boxes of books, furnishings, whatever we needed, happily and carefully. He was such an amiable companion, funny and utterly attractive. AT that time he was interested in going to Full Sail, and my husband and I thought how wonderful it would be if we were only able to help him out financially. He helped us so much, so often, without thought of gain, just an open-hearted love of life and people. Thank you for helping him to be such an unforgettable, dear person. Our sympathy and prayers go out to you. Sincerely, sorrowfully, Pat and Burt Corbus
