Bob Denver Obituary
Denver, who underwent quadruple heart bypass surgery earlier this year, died Friday at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital in North Carolina, according to agent Mike Eisenstadt. Denver's death was first reported by "Entertainment Tonight."
Denver also played the title character's beatnik pal, Maynard G. Krebs, on TV's "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis."

I was so sad when I learned the news,that "Little Buddy" ,had passed.I"hated"that school bus ride home growing up, but , I"loved"knowing that when I got home, I would have just enough time to fix a snack and then, lay in the living room floor, just in time for Gilligan ,(Oh,&the Skipper too, along with the rest of the crew)!He was so funny , every day!He had the most special"Sense of Childlike Innocence",about him.I remember, being a child, and laughing at him, the things he said, His Playful Antic's,even the tone of his voice,It was all so much like he was,just a "Big Kid at Heart Himself".What a Precious Spirit he was to so many of us here on earth, ...and One that will carry on,... forever, I feel .I still love the show, I always will.I know that he went on to a very special place, where he is ,without doubt,spreading his laughter and cheer more than ever before.I would like to send a Prayer up to "Little Buddy" (Bob)..."Thank You Little Buddy, for being the Bright Spot In all those Afternoon's of mine"!My Deepest Sympathy to the Bob Denver family and friends!My Prayers are with you !
