My thoughts and prayers go to the families of the miners who lost their lives. Some of us are far away and not directly connected to the mining occupation but know the importance of the job. We hold you in our hearts where there are no distances or differences.

To All of the families who have had to face such a tradegy:
I hope this will help with finding the stength and faith to move on.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of Death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the miners. I am a miner myself, a above ground mine in south New Jersey. But I'm still a miner and what we do is not a easy job at times . But it needs to be done for the good of the country.

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

On July 1, 1994 my brother, Christopher N. Haas, was killed in a cave-in at the Alaska/Juneau mine. He loved mining and had worked in Colorado and elsewhere in the US and South America. Our family has been where you are and I pray the Lord Jesus comforts your hearts with the comfort each of you need.

My sympathy to the families of Dale, Brandon and Gary. One thing that will help you get through this situation is God's word the Bible. And there he assures us: "Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart and those who are crushed in spirit he saves. The Bible gives you hope of seeing your love ones again right here on a paradise earth in the very near future. It also promise us that our enemy death will be no more. May these words give you a measure of comfort and strength to endure in this ti0me of such deep sorrow.

Dear family and friends,
My sincere condolences to each of you. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone we love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold that loved one can be almost too difficult to bear. How loving of our Heavenly Father to provide comfort in the scriptures. The Bible's resurrection accounts help us to understand that the persons who were resurrected were reunited with their loved ones--John chapter 11. Other comforting thoughts are found at Luke 7:11-15 and Luke 8:49-56. The Bible also provides evidence that God's purpose is to restore the whole earth to it's original paradise state--Psalms 37:10,11, 29. So our loved ones will be resurrected into a world free of war, crime, sickness and hate. No more pain and suffering. Isn’t this a beautiful thing to look forward to?
With sincerest sympathy,

To each and every family member
GOD does not let you go to heaven alone, he sends down one of his precious angels to carry you up to heaven on the wings of a dove, the same way he sends down his pure sweet love. There is no pain, no tears and no suffering in heaven.
Only peace, joy and love for all who dwell there with him. May God
wrap his loving arms around each of you and carry you through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with each you and with
those who lost there lives in these mines.
Love and Prayers
Keep the "Precious Memories " you do have of your loved one alive and keep it safe in your heart, throwing out the bad memories and keeping the precious ones.
Love to all

THE FAMILIES ARE IN OUR PRAYERS.GOD BLESS YOU
September 2, 2007
In death there is pain and sorrow of physical separation. But it is equally true that our loved ones remain with us. They do not just go off to some dark and distant place. They simply continue into eternal life. For those who are left behind should not grieve as if there were no hope. Life is changed, not taken away. Our loved ones live on, in a world beautiful beyond anything we can imagine. With Jesus and Mary they await the day when they will welcome us with joy. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of every loved one.
