The Fugitive was one of my all time favorite television shows. All the actors played their roles very, very well. I also was very impressed with the 1993 movie version winning an Academy Award for actor Tommy Lee Jones. I don’t know if any of the tv actors got a chance to see the movie version; they would’ve loved it.

I grew up watching shows such as the Fugitive. Recently watched the entire series and believe the Fugitive would have been even had Mr Morris been given more script time. Thank you for all you've done to create great tv!

Barry has been my role model and father figure since '75. He always reminded me of my grandpa. When I met him I almost could'nt believe this was real.

Barry was a wonderful actor even tho I did not like him in The Fugitive. "He was chasing my fellow." I just finished watching the 120 episodes and Barry really made the part of Lt. Gerard truly real. He will be missed.

For Barry...The success of
The Fugitive would not have
been as great without you.
WEEP NOT FOR ME
Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.
Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.
I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour of need, I will be there to comfort you. I will share your tears, your joys, your fears, your disappointments and your triumphs.
Do not weep for me, for I am cradled
in the arms of God. I walk with the angels, and hear the music beyond the stars.
Do not weep for me, for I am within you;
I am peace, love, I am a soft wind that caresses the flowers. I am the calm that follows a raging storm. I am an autumns leaf that floats among the garden of God, and I am pure white snow that softly falls upon your hand.
Do not weep for me, for I shall never die, as long as you remember me...
with a smile and a sigh.

In Memory of Barry Morse:
Name: Dr. Richard Kimble, Destination: Death Row, State Prison, The Irony: Richard Kimble is innocent, proven guilty is what Richard Kimble cannot prove.....My siblings and I enjoyed you in "The Fugitive" which was recreated on the silver screen with Harrison Ford and won an oscar for Tommy Lee Jones. I dreaded the day that the "one-armed man" was caught because that meant Richard Kimble could stop running... Your fans and family were blessed to have you for a long time and a prosperous career.
RIP Barry.....

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Father we entrust our brother Barry to your mercy. You loved him greatly in this life: now that he is freed from all its cares, give him happiness and peace forever. Welcome him now into paradise where there will be no more sorrow, no more weeping or pain, but only peace and joy with Jesus your Son, and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
May God hold Barry in the palm of His hand. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My deepest sympathy.
Thank you for your excellent acting skills. I always enjoyed "The Fugitive", you played the part well.

I met Barry Morse several times. He was a charming man, a nicer person you could not hope to meet. He was always considerate and approachable to his fans. He told wonderfully fascinating anecdotes about his career and life. He could converse on any subject with great intelligence. His energy was amazing. When I met him he was already a senior citizen but he had more energy and zest for life than many people a quarter of his age.
He was a very fine actor of great sensitivity and insight.
We will miss him and I send my sympathies to his family for their loss

Barry Morse is someone I wished I'd met, and felt like I knew. I recently rediscovered my great interest in a TV series I grew up with--Space:1999, the SciFi series he starred in during the mid-1970's. His character, Victor Bergman, was far and away my favorite character in that show, a character I still feel a strong connection with. Today, I wish I was familiar with more of Barry Morse's work besides, and wish I might have met him at one of the S99 conventions that have been held in past years. In any case, he will not be forgotten, and neither will his many characters and the way he brought them to life...RIP, and Long Live Victor!!
