Many months have gone by.
Many memories still live on.
We can be drawn to God, knowing that he fully understands the pain & sorrow we all suffer because of the untimely deaths of our loved ones.
Our complete reliance on “the God of all comfort” will help us to endure our grief & sadness.

I have never seen such deep love for family, strong faith, and virtuous forgiveness so eloquently displayed, than when I heard you on national television. Your heroic actions demonstrating these virtues during this deepest tragedy, has shown us all what true heroes do. I wish one day to have just a part your deep faith and strength as you now face what many others never could...God clearly knows that you are an exceptional man.
All who have heard of your loss were moved, and we pray for you daily in our family. I am certain that God will again reunite all of us on earth with our loved ones in heaven soon.

I am so sorry to read about the death of your beautiful wife, and two daughters. I saw you on television speak about your family, and I can see how much you love them and I can see your pain. Please find comfort in Jehovah God and His wonderful promise in the bible of a resurrection for the dead. Soon God's kingdom will bring an end to all things that cause us so much pain and suffering. God did not take your family, it was simply an accident. But God had the ability to bring them back to life, and He will.
Rev 21:3,4 Dan 2:44 "God's son, Jesus is the resurrection and the life" They will both keep their promises.

I was very sorry to hear of this tragedy. A scripture that has always brought me comfort in difficult times is Revelation 21:3,4. It shows that one day God will get rid of death and the sorrow that comes with it.

I am so touched by your forgiving attitude toward the pilot whose plane caused the death of your family members. Your humility and your request that others help you deal with this makes you a quiet hero in my eyes. My mother recently passed away, and I am certain that she will be there to help care for your loved ones in Heaven. May you some day find peace, even though you will miss them forever.

Mr. Yoon,
Your expression of faith, love, and forgiveness, has been one of the most outstanding testimonies of Christian love I have heard in my 62 years! You have strengthened and encouraged me and I suspect, perhaps thousands of others. None of us can possibly imagine the depth of this loss. All of us can only hope to have a fragment of your astonishing faith ! I pray for His peace , which passeth all understanding, to hold you close every remaining hour of your life, until the beautiful hour of reunion which He promises.
God Bless You

I am sorry to see on the news about the death of your loved ones. 2 Corinthians 1:3 tells us that God can help his faithful servants to endure any problem or challenge that they may face. One way that God may provide comfort is through a friend of a loved one. I know you don't understand why now, please read Ecclesiastes 9:11. Also James 4:8 tells us if we draw close to God, he will draw close to us. I hope you can find comfort thru the scriptures. I have always found God's word to be of great comfort. Another scripture I would like for you to read is found at Psalm 34:18. I pray that you find comfort while reading these scriptures.

Words can not express the sorrow that is in my heart. Accept my deepest sympathy for your loss and admiration for your courage as you face each day. What a shining example you set for the rest of us with your words of forgiveness and compassion for the pilot who is suffering also. I honor your loved ones and you. May your path be made smooth by the love of strangers at this most difficult time.

How incredible it was to hear the surviving member of this family asking everyone to pray for the pilot of the plane. You hear people ask what would Christ do… but you actually demonstrated it. God will bring you Peace, and I will continue to pray for you and the pilot. God Bless you!

Death, be not proud
Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy or charms can make us sleep as well
And better than thy stroke; why swell'st thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die

Mr. Yoon, I am so very saddened by the loss of your precious family. You touched my heart with your grace and generosity at such a time. You asked how do you do this? I lost my only child, a Marine, killed in Iraq 6-20-06. There is no one who can tell you how to walk out this tragedy but it is a great help to have friends, family and a church praying for you. That was a blessing to us. A friend who suffered such a loss told me it was my time to be selfish. She did not mean this in a cruel way but to do what I needed, when I needed, without living up to others expectations. They are good words to follow. Be kind to yourself. There are so many ups and downs to face in the coming days and months. Know that getting through each second is an accomplishment. May you be blessed by the love, prayers and support being sent your way. I
will be keeping you in my prayers.

I can't even begin to imagine what this father and husband is going through. The only comfort he can possibly find is knowing that his mother-in-law was by her daughter's side and his wife by HER daughter's side when they made their way to heaven. What a tragedy. I am so sorry, for such a great lost in life. My heart goes out to the greiving family and friends.
Be assured the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our pains and sorrows, sees your tears and his ears are toward your cry for help.
God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
God promise to be near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.
May these words give you measure of comfort and may God give you the needed strength to go from one day to the next.
