I am so dearly sorry for the loss of these innocent victims. I am sure they are dearly and truly missed by their family members and good friends. But at 1 Corinthians 15:26 it says that "the enemy death will be brought to nothing." So just think of a time when there will be no more death in this world ever again. Things will be at peace.

Dennis Hawkins was a wonderful man who touched my life through his work at Bethesda Baptist Church and his relationship with my parents, Deacon Horry and Dovie Hardison, who loved him dearly. We will miss his presence but he will always live in our hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and all the families who lost loved ones in this terrible tragedy. May God bless and keep you.

What happened was such a tragedy that struck the hearts of all who heard of this event. My heart and warmest regards goes out to family and friends of these precious ones.
The loss of someone dear to us is an unfathomable concept. Hopefully, you can find comfort in God's promise found at Revelation 21:4, which states: "And He [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." So, as unbelievable as it may seem, God promises us a time in which He will rid us of all things that make us suffer and mourn today, including our enemy, death. How comforting it is to know that He loves us so much!! Continue to draw strength from the "God of all comfort" by means of constant, fervent prayers for strength and the ability to cope during this grievous period.
The victims and their families will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers!

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Your Love Will Always Be In My Heart.

I'll cling on to Your love
in My heart;
I won't let go of Your love
in My heart,
Your love will remain in My
heart forever;
I'll hold on to Your love so
tightly as though it was made
of gold,
Your love will always be My
treasure;
I'll seal up Your love in My
heart,
I'll cherish Your love in My
heart forever;
Your love will always be My
keepsake in My heart,
Not even death itself can
separate Your love in My heart;
And I won't let Your love
wither or fade away in My heart,
Your love will always linger on
and on in My heart;
Your love will always be in My
heart forever.

We pass hunderds of commuters on our way to work each day but never smile or bid them to have a good day. Then one day tradegy hits and we lose one of our own and wished we had taken the time just to say hello. Each day I ride the Metro now I'll take the time to make someone smile for we never know if we will see them ever again in our travels. God bless those Metro riders we lost this week. May your familes find comfort in your memory

To The Families of the Metro- Collision Visions
Lean On God
By: Charles G. Turner, Sr.
In life our love ones and friends sometimes suddenly pass away
For many reasons we don’t understand
Our hearts become heavy with sorrow
Just remember to pray to God and put it in his hands
As time goes on there are days when we feel sad
When that happens think of the good times you’ve had
Lift up your head and carry on
And ask God to make you strong
Lean on God through your stress and strain
And he will surely ease the hurt and pain
With sympathy

This is a heartwrenching event and my hope for the families of all those involved is that they know that the God of all comfort is so aware of this tragedy, and He will give you the needed strength to cope. He also promises these words at John 5:28,29 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." So very saddened by this loss.
