I didnt know you but saw your beautiful family and Daughter on the news and it was obvious you were a wonderful person. Seems like God wanted you a bit earlier than anyone had wanted but it won't be forever for I believe you will be with your family again one day. Its not always fair the way things turn out in life and they say there is a reason for everything, I won't question HIS reasons I pray that your Mom, Daughter Fiance family and friends Coach and former classmates get through this very difficult time.Love and warm caring hugs to them all. To Jasper's mother,
May the memories of days gone by,of Love & Laughter bring Peace during the holiday.
I drove my daughter home from North Carolina last week, but my thoughts were with you. "Jasper wouldn't be going home this Christmas", I said to my daughter. Sorry Mrs Howard, so sorry!!!!! Every child should come home from college. I feel the pain of your loss.
Anger took the lives of two black men, leaving two children fatherless. There is no joy in the story, no winners.
Our gratitude to you for allowing Jasper to be apart of the UCONN family. Thanks for raising a child that touch the world... he wouldn't be forgotten.
We will contiue to honour his life, for all he was and for all he was to become.

I remember when I first saw anything about this, I was on a plane back to CT. From FL.watching ESPN. How could this happen to a young man of such talent and much promise? I do beleive once your purpose is served here on earth, you return to the Lord, Although much more could have been, so much had been. Jazz touched people all over CT, and his home state of FL.And by reading the entries here, all over, to many places to count! We shall never question Gods Choice to bring his children home, Jazz has not left with out leaving a piece of him to come!ENJOY his child, and tell that child that their father was a person that was love and respected by thousands of people, Jazz will always be a Huskie and a part of everyone whos life he touched, either thru the TV,on the field or face to face.Remember the good times and laugh! My thoughts and prayers are with the Howard Family and Friends in their time of grief, may the Lord see you through what seems to have no end!
CT. will always Love Jazz for everything he was and for the game he brought to the field! RIP #6!
