I offer my condolences on your loss. Please lean on each other and talk to one another about the good times Michael gave you. May the God of all comfort ease your time of grief at this sad passing. (Isaiah 32:2) . . .And each one must prove to be like a hiding place from the wind and a place of concealment from the rainstorm, like streams of water in a waterless country, like the shadow of a heavy crag in an exhausted land. . .

MARIE AND YOUR FAMILY,
We lost our son earlier this year, all those "what if's". It's not going to change anything. Live the life Michael would want you to live. As a Mother myself,I lost my son 10 months ago. This by far has been the hardest thing I've ever endured as a Mother, we were best friends. Take one day at a time. Marie never question "Could you have done anything different"?
I've heard Michael on TV several times say your were the best Mom ever, as well as your other children. You were so BLESSED to have Michael in your life. And like you, I believe you will see Michael as I will see my son again, when GOD'S ready. When I think of Donny and Marie back in the 1970's, my son was arounf 4 yrs old and had a piano, and he used his drum stick as the microphone and sing with Donny. He would then say, "Momma, get up and sing with Marie. I told my daughter I'd love to get to Las Vegas to hear both you sing,it would bring so many wonderful memories back.
Again, may GOD keep his loving arms around you and your whole family.
God Bless,
Pat Hardaway ~ [email protected]
May God Bless you and your family!

Help From God
The Bible assures us: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34:18) Yes, more than anything else, a relationship with God can help you to cope with the death of someone you love. How? All the practical suggestions offered thus far have been based on or are in harmony with God’s Word, the Bible. Applying them can help you cope.
In addition, do not underestimate the value of prayer. The Bible urges us: “Throw your burden upon Jehovah himself, and he himself will sustain you.” (Psalm 55:22) If talking out your feelings with a sympathetic friend can help, how much more will pouring out your heart to “the God of all comfort” help you!—2 Corinthians 1:3.
It is not that prayer simply makes us feel better. The “Hearer of prayer” promises to give holy spirit to his servants who sincerely ask for it. (Psalm 65:2; Luke 11:13) And God’s holy spirit, or active force, can equip you with “power beyond what is normal” to go from one day to the next. (2 Corinthians 4:7) Remember: God can help his faithful servants to endure any and every problem they may face.

Ms.Osmond,
My generation grew up with your family on our T.V. sets.I even had the lunch box.My Grandfather was a professional jazz artist during the big band era.He lost his own daughter in a horrific traffic accident(My Aunt).Later,my Granny took her own life as a result of the event.Grandfather continued to play jazz because that was where he found peace.Hopefully, one day you will find peace again.

Ms. Osmond and family,
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you at this most saddened time. My husband and I can certainly understand the depth of your loss. Our own son, Billy, took his own life (now some 4 1/2 yrs ago) by the same means as Michael. How any parent can 'go on' is certainly hard but it must be done by, breathing in and out and putting one foot in front of the other. Of course, we know you have a loving and supportive family and group of close friends to help keep you going. We can only say the pain, sorrow and sadness will only decrease by nano-seconds within time, but it's that amount which has kept us going.
We are so very sorry to hear that another parent's child has passed this way though always remember, the memories you have of your Michael will get you through many tough times ahead.
We embrace you and your family with all the empathy only another family can know. Be kind to yourself.
We remain, sincere,
Michael Enriquez & Family

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
