My deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one. Ronald will always be connected to an epic film, the Poseidon adventure. He will be missed by many. Jehovah God cares and provides comfort to all who grieve. His words in the scriptures at 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 bring comfort.

I once read, "To the dying the face of death is not a terrible monster, nature has made it so." I hope this helps you as it has helped me.

The man was a genius I wish I could've met him. Other than making classics like The Poseidon Adventure he made the musical version of "Scrooge" starring Albert Finney, which is as far as I'm concerned the best version and the best Christmas film ever. We always put it on every year and it never fails to move us. God rest his soul.

Thank you, Ronald Neame, for your great movies especially "The Poseidon Adventure" in the early 70's and "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" that I watched prior to my graduating from college that year in 1969. I also enjoyed watching "The Odessa File" and "I Could Go on Singing." My heartfelt prayers wishing you God’s peace to his wife Donna and their family.

I am so sorry tto hear that Ronald Neame pass away. He was a wonderful director and had amazing talent. Family and friends the bible gives us comfort at a time like this. Jesus tells us, "Do not marvel at this because the hour is comig when all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28,29) This scripture is really comforting to know because it tells us that we will be able to see our love ones again.

I had the privilege of attending a Directing Workshop featuring Mr. Neame back in 1983 and well remember how much he loved his craft and sharing his experiences with others. Ronald Neame was one of the most insightful and talented directors, mentors and filmmakers of the last century and will be greatly missed.
