"Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels." Hebrews 13:2

I did not know Ms. Naylor, but I knew an angel of her kind. I lost my husband June 1, 2010. My heart has been warmed as I've read the comments of Ms. Naylor's life. People like her really do exist... few, but real. For everyone that had the opportunity to cross her path, you were blessed. If each of you who did know her imitates that which you received from her, you will effect the world in a very positive way and she will smile down on you from heaven.

I thank God continually, for He does not make mistakes. God bless the family and friends.

I retired in 1996 after 36 years as a U. S. Postal Employee. The first 10 I served as a clerk and the following 26 as a Postmaster, all at Brussels, IL. I marvel at the thought she was still active at the age of 94., that is what you call dedication. To her family we send sincere condolences.

Sorry to hear of Ms Naylor's passing. I didn't know her but from the entries it's seems she lived a long purposeful life. Although when we lose a loved one it never seems long enough. Life in this world is never long enough.
In God's new world he promises we will live forever. Scientist's dont know why we grow old and die but the Bible tells us it is because of our original father Adam who sinned and therefore we all inherit sin and go through the aging process and die. Jesus Christ gave his life to buy back what Adam lost everlasting life on a paradise earth. When Verna is resurrected she will have a opportunity to live under the rule of Jesus Christ and death will be no more.

An inspiring example of a Lady who lived a purposeful life of dedication to her community. If we all could be half as blessed as Ms Naylor in finding our passion and be able to share it as she has late into in her life! People such as her made this a great nation. I am moved by her example on what it means to really keep a positive attitude.

Verna was my Aunt..she was so very good to me. All threw the years she made sure I was okay. She provided me with clothes, food and even put a roof on my house because she knew I could not afford one. She made sure my children had a good Christmas and kept us with food from her garden. I do not know how I would have made it as a single mother without my Aunt Verna..I will truly miss her as I loved her very much.

Thank you for your service to your community of Bentonville, Ohio and to your country. You were one of many women who've stepped in and taken over for their deceased husbands to maintain what they started. Georgia Rosenbloom-Frontiere' as owner of the former Los Angeles, now St. Louis Rams for her husband, Carroll Rosenbloom is one example of that.

I would have loved to hear your stories of how the postal system had changed over your tenure. Rest easy. God should be expecting a special delivery at the Gates of Heaven!
