Tuli! Always to be remembered as my kind friend. He had no reason to love me, yet he did while I, on the other hand, had every reason to love him, and, so of course, I did. He was a caring and kind friend who gave generously of his warmth and spirit. As one who lived his life without a single grain of hypocrisy, true to his beliefs, he'll be remembered as a gentle warrior for freedom, equality and justice for all. His spirit will endure through the legacy of his music, philosophy, writing, poems, videos and cartoons. To Sylvia, Thelma, Joey, Samara, and Brandon,
my thoughts are with all of you as you carry on without so joyful a partner, father and friend. With a heavy heart I bid you a fond farewell, Tuli! Love, Jill
