Judith,
Cecile Dupont was my fifth grade music teacher at McDonogh#9 Elementary School somewhere around 1939. I consider my appreciation for the classics the result of Miss Dupont's interesting presentation. Mrs.Martin was invited to attend our McD#9, 1939-1940, reunion in 1984. She planned to attend, but sent regrets because she had fallen that day and had broken a front tooth. We missed seeing her. I was saddened to hear her story after Katrina, but am relieved to know her remains are with you. My deepest sympathy to you on your great loss and my best wishes for your future.
Sincerely,
Carolyn Fichtel Babin

Mama, I'm sorry I have not been able to fulfill your wish to have your ashes used to plant rose bushes. They are still in a box and safe with me in my trailer. But when the time is right, what you asked to have done will be done. Love, Me.
