George ( GEORGIE), was a good guy, always kind and respectful. I remember when I was growing up in the parish, George was older than I was , but he never talked like he was above me. He treated everybody the same. Its been several years since I had spoken with or seen him, because I no longer live in the parish. From the news I have gathered, George was going around in a pirouge, after the storm hit, helping people off of rooftops, and trying to help people out any way he could. My brother told me George came and got him off of the roof at my dads house, and brought him to safety. George always held his parents in high regard, and was proud that his dad was a Marine.
