Nancy Belle Murphy

Nancy drowned and was found outside her home in Bay St. Louis. She is survived by one brother, Rodney Murphy of Bay St. Louis. She never married but she was the daughter of Charles B. Murphy and Mary Starks Murphy. She is buried in the Napoleonville cemetery, with her brothers and sisters.

Five other siblings survived her; Michael Murphy, Lucille Murphy Witter, Doris Murphy Balius, Sister Claudia Murphy, and Margaret Ann Murphy Ladner, but have since died themselves. Among the siblings who predeceased her were: Charles B. Murphy, Jr., and Samuel Patrick Murphy. She was retired from the Hancock Bank. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who miss their Aunt Nan.
