I had the honor and privilege of being one of Professor Heyman's students at the University of California Berkley Law School-Boalt Hall. We both started law school together in the fall of 1958. He started his teaching career and I started my legal education. He was an excellent professor and a very fine human being. I was saddened to learn of his passing. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
