It is 2020 and I just found out about Charla. It’s so sad. I lost my own mom at 56. Every Christmas I reread the book. It’s like an over 50 bible. Charla, you gave so many ordinary woman a nudge and made them rethink their lives. Your advise is funny and edgy and I am so glad to have found your book. God bless your family. Thank you for writing your book.

I am almost embarrassed to be writing something years after but I still refer to her books and was just wondering if she had written anything new. I must have been on a different planet in 2012. She was lovely and smart, and her unique and modern take on Self-Help
manuals will, obviously, stand the test of time - just like her. With deep sympathy.

In the midst of my workday, this beautiful lady crossed my mind. I recalled her passing, but was inclined to look her up.
I miss her from the Today Show. She always had good advice for women and so sincere.
RIP Charla.

I did not know Charla Krupp but have a copy of her book, "How Not To Look Old" and have found it to have many excellent and useful ideas on this subject. There were even a few things that validated what I was already doing.
I had gone online with a suggestion for a follow up book on how to look young in retirement with fixed income. That is where I found out Charla had passed away. I was not even aware she was ill.
I would like to see a follow up book to answer the retirement question and perhaps it could be a tribute edition.
My condolences to her family. Blessings.

I didn't know Charla, but I watched her on The Today Show. I once saw her in a stationary shop on 57th Street in New York. I thought she was a lovely lady with a great message for women. I don't know why, but I was thinking about her today and it's been several years since her passing. She lives on in our hearts and minds.

Charla's two books made a tremendous impact on me, and I am grateful I had the pleasure of meeting her briefly at Bloomingdale's in Atlanta. She was so charming and lovely... I was curious what her next project would be, and was stunned to find the news of her passing just a few moments ago! Such a loss...Sending prayers to her family and close friends. She will be missed very much.

Dear Family - Charla and I were colleagues whose career paths were parallel--only crossing occasionally. Over the years I was always delighted to experience her most unique presence, energy and acumen. I was so happy to meet Richard and see her amazing capacity complemented by his own. To Charla's family--I was Charla's first assistant when she created the position of Editorial Production Coordinator at Mademoiselle Magazine. She was a wonderful mentor and an amazingly kind and caring person. She had the gift of being honest and tactful simultaneously, and everyone who knew her realized that with her talent and drive, she was destined for great success in the field of magazine journalism. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. My profound sympathies to Mr. Zoglin and to the Krupp family on their loss.

I had a chance encounter with Charla, her delightful Mother and sister about 3 years ago at Bloomingdales. While we waded through the sale racks we all chatted about her upcoming visit on Oprah. I was a complete stranger to these three, but left the group feeling as if I had been one of their family. What a sad time for all us who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Charla. I mourn your loss along with you, knowing how devasting losing Charla is to your family. She will be missed by many.

The warmest, the bounciest, the most upbeat, the most generous. And that was at Mademoiselle, a lifetime ago. We have lost a wonderful force in the world. And I'd say rest in peace, but I can't imagine Charla resting. Keep it going on, Charla, from your particular, bright and beautiful heavenly location.

I didn't know Charla. I don't know that I'd ever seen or heard of her. But I was touched by her story. And saddened that still another vibrant life was cut short and another family deprived of that life and love by a deadly disease that targets almost exclusively women -- our wives, mothers, daughters, sisters and aunts.

My sincerest condolences to Charla's family and friends. I met Charla at my very first job at Mademoiselle magazine. I remember her as one of the most vibrant and genuine women-so kind and supportive to a newbie getting started. Truly charm personified. I was very saddened to hear of her passing.

Charla and I were classmates in the School of Journalism at UIUC. Though she and I were not close (indeed, we hadn't seen nor spoken to each other since graduation), I was aware of her career and success. (As a regular viewer of the Today show, I always got a kick out of seeing a fellow alum in the spotlight.) My recollection of her is of a focused, talented woman with tons of energy and charm. Sorry to hear of her passing. Far too young and with so much more waiting to be accomplished. My sympathies to her husband, mother and sister...

As someone who grew up with Charla and lived down the block from her family, I've enjoyed learning of her many successes over the years. Just this past September, we had our 40th high school reunion, and a junior high reunion as well. Charla was actively involved in the reunion planning. She appeared vibrant and radiant, so news of her illness and death just a few months later comes as a shock. Charla's grace serves as a model for me. My deepest condolences to Charla's family and friends.

I met Charla when I was a freshman at the U of I. She was always up and smiling and was a good friend. Over the years I would stop by her office to see her when I visited New York and she was always the same, glad to see me, encouraging, and just like the day we met. I last saw her was about a year ago in Chicago at a book signing event, and as always, she lifted my spirits.
Charla, I will miss you...

Throughout life, only one thing is certain and it's not taxes. Everyone feels pain at sometime in life. For Charla, it only came at the end....But before that pain, oh what a life she led. Led, as in leader"! Charla was a rare and valuable breed, always living with a confidence and a purpose. She embraced that chutzpah of turning blah, into making all round her feel energetic and positive. Advise from Charla was like a wave of sunshine. She didn't display that air of snobbish that most in her driven/competitive profession are afflicted. Charla Krupp was taught extremely well and these results have made everyone who's life she graced-and we're talking multitudinous, all became-Richer. The few, like a Charla Krupp don't ever pass on. They surround us and penetrate us with an eternal blessing. Let us amen
