Emily Parker Obituary
Her father, Robbie Parker, fought back tears as he described the beautiful, blonde, always-smiling 6-year-old girl who loved to try new things, except food.
Parker, one of the first parents to publicly talk about his loss, expressed no animosity for the gunman, even as he struggled to explain the death to his other two children, ages 3 and 4. He's sustained by the fact that the world is better for having had Emily in it.
"I'm so blessed to be her dad," he said.

As the surviving children from this tragedy are now graduating High School, I am reminded of this bright young girl who had so much going for her and know she is still thought about to this day. Not a day goes by that my family doesn´t think of you all. Our long time friendship still holds true. Every year I take a moment of silence not just for Emily and your family, but for all who were affected that tragic day. With my mom in Heaven these past 5 years, I know that they have met. Maybe my mom is telling stories of how Randy was Scout Master and taught my brother funny songs. I know that our loved ones became Guardian Angels, so I have no doubt Emily is watching over her siblings with care. Just know that the love of our Lord and our Heavenly Father, the pain of loss isn´t ours alone. Much love and prayers to all of the Parker family from my family.

Happy heavenly 15th Emilie! A bright and beautiful angel, who’s memory will always live on. Learning about each one of the victims lives as always been something I’ve thought was important. I love hearing about your all’s passions and personalities. But it pains me to know, that for 20 little children it ended at the age of 6/7. It’s hard to even think of the things you’d like know since you all left so young. Even though, may be gone from this earth, your legacy will forever live on. Your family protected you for 6 beautiful years, now you’re their protector in heaven. What a special little guardian angel you are to them. I just know you’re painting the sky in heaven, running around free, laughing, and playing with the angels. I hope that on this bittersweet day, your families day was filled peace, prayers, and love!
